This is a Business Card Design that I did for Cowboy Log Homes in Belgrade, MT. The image and text were provided by the company and the font and PhotoShop work were done by me. The scalloped line separating the card added a lot of character and played off of the lines of the logo. I also enhanced the logo with color corrections.
One consideration when designing a business card is to be sure to print out a hard copy in the exact size that the card is going to be printed in. Often the text on the computer screen will look great but the printing on the final card will end up looking almost in microscopic size. That was my experience with the card below. My solution was to enlarge the text, enlarge the logo, change some wording, and crop the picture down. Here is the improved card.
